An asset is something valuable that a person or company owns. It can help make  money or provide benefits in the future.

How to identify an asset:

Think about things you own that can be sold or used to help you.  Ask a parent if your savings or any items you have are considered assets.

Types of Assets:

Personal Assets: Things like your bicycle, video games, or savings.
Family Assets: Your family’s house or car.
